Meet Missy

“I’ll never be as fit as I was when I was young”

"I don't have enough time"

“I know what to do; I am just not doing it”

“I’m afraid it won’t work for me and I’ll fail”.

I’ve heard these comments and many more from clients over the years.  I get it.  I understand. I’ve even struggled with these myself.  Working with me is not just about another diet or another workout. It’s about healing. Healing your relationship with food and exercise and digging deeper to find out the root of why you do the things you do.I don’t just want to hold you accountable; I want to know YOU. Your why. Your struggles. Your goals. I want to know YOU so I can help you heal and win at your health goals. My techniques dig into understanding your own behavior and are far more than just dolling out meal planning tips.

“Missy’s coaching extends beyond nutrition and fitness. Missy’s targeted and personalized coaching techniques help you improve your relationship with not only food & exercise, but also with your body and yourself! Missy equips and empowers you to be your healthiest and strongest self!!”

–Elisa Omaha, NE

I was born and raised in Omaha, NE. My passion for health and exercise was cultivated through my years as an athlete and grieving the severe health issues of close family members. I entered into University knowing Exercise Science was my path to helping others live healthier lives. I studied Exercise Behavior Change in my Masters program, really examining why people either stick with a program or quit. I became fascinated in examining why people do what they do. I was also a full-time faculty member in the department of Health, Physical Education & Recreation (HPER) at the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO), teaching undergraduate Exercise Science courses.  I opened Edge Body Boot Camp, a strength and conditioning gym in Omaha, in December of 2014. I currently lives in Omaha, NE with my husband Rob and daughter Sawyer.

Don't Let Your Mind Tell you What To Do!
Tell Your Mind What to Do!

“I can’t.  I’ve failed.  I messed up.  I’m  too tired.”  I hear this all the time…not only from my clients, but my own mind!  What?!  Yes!  We all have self defeating thoughts.  We all self sabotage at one point or another.  But, what separates the pack is how we let those thoughts affect us.
